Take a look at this cool motorcycle concept which is definitely the real Transformer, and we say this because it does actually transform.

The XO Move Motorcycle is unique especially when it is parked because it can transform into the locked position for security. It will adjust for the riders needs; it can carry one or two persons and has a variable wheel base to make it more stable on the roads. The designers of the XO Move Motorcycle are Josson Thomas, Camile Baron, Damien Grossemy & Kevin Lecoutre.

Black Knight: Unmanned Combat Vehicle

We now know that there are robotic cars smart enough to drive themselves around a city. The next step: give those vehicles automatic weapons, of course.

Enter the Black Knight — a very early prototype of an “Unmanned Combat Vehicle,” developed by arms-maker BAE Systems for the U.S. Army. From the outside, the Knight doesn’t look all that different from the armored vehicles used by the American military in combat zones around the world. But soldiers can also get out of the nine-and-a-half-ton Knight, and control the vehicle from afar — including a custom, one-off 30mm gun and coaxial machine gun.

Or the troops can stay just chill out, and let the thing drive itself. The Knight uses “advanced robotic technology for autonomous mobility,” according to BAE. “This capability allows the Black Knight to plan routes, maneuver on the planned route, and avoid obstacles - all without operator intervention.” More »

Not one to brave the waves in the ocean? With the Power Surfboard, you don’t need to for surfing. This surfboard lets you surf through any body of water at speeds of up to 25 mph (daredevils might as well stay away from this post). The person surfing can control the speed through the hand held throttle and change directions by shifting body weight like a typical surfboard. Now you need not wait for waves to ride. You can go out on any ocean, lake or river any time and surf. You can also surf with on shallow areas because this motorized surfboard possesses a weed cutting system that will not allow your engine to get clogged.

Self Inflating Tires: A Must-Have

Inflating Tires - a must haveAlthough Coda’s Self Inflating Tires are still in the stage of development, it appears that this new system will be inevitably built in new made cars. It is made from only two elements, a peristaltic pump and a valve to stop over-inflation.

A peristaltic pump is a type of positive displacement pump that can pump a diversity of fluids or gases, and is activated by certain conditions of interaction. In this particular case, it will work as a tube integrated into the sidewall or the rims of the tires that will be compressed at the bottom, when the tire rolls, thus forcing the air into the tube. If the tire is already inflated at the right pressure, the valve closes.

The manufacturer stated that a mile of driving will be enough to cover the air normally lost in a month from the tires. Keeping them at the perfect pressure makes your car more safe, saves your time and is also an economical measure, as the tires suffer less damage and you won’t spend your money on buying a pump for the car. This new system seems to be another indispensable element of cars, like ABS, as any decent recently-made car has it.
