Year Twenty-0-eight
“Time flies-by so fast when you’re having fun” so as the saying goes. And once again, Christmas came and went and we never noticed. The question is, why haven’t you noticed? Is it because you’re too busy with your career, busy with your business, with your love life? You’re hard to locate because you have to attend to a meeting, need to go somewhere for a presentation, finish the paperworks to meet deadline, close a deal and transaction or just spend most of your time infront of computer just like me ;-).
I know that I am not the only one guilty about this, but most of us are. We are aware that we really need that break, that sought-after vacation leave in Boracay you’ve been planning to have five (5) years ago but somehow, until now this is still a hard task to do. So with the coming of the new year, you will then take your pen and paper and write again your new year’s resolution with BORACAY in capital letters placed in number two spot with MIRACLE positioned in number 1. But as they say also, it is you who designs your destiny. At the end of each day, you will be the one to decide for yourself what is best for you. If you let circumstances dictate your life, then your much needed vacation will still be miracle to achieve. But if you will take the wheels and make decisions for yourself, then maybe this year, the miracle would be a reality.

Due to health reasons that discourages caffeine to our body, I was not introduced into drinking coffee ever since. When I started to work and my officemates are either randomly drinking coffee or puffing cigarettes, my participation in these ’sessions’ are just plain doing all the talking. And this has led to unending questions and answers as to why I am not doing whatever they’re doing. They thought that I am not real, that I am not city-bred, someone from the remote mountains in the country who might have not heard nor tasted coffee or cigarette. It’s just a big deal for them to know that somebody like me still exists today. Much as they wanted to persuade me to try at least one of those ’stress-busters,’ they couldn’t convince me because these are the principles that have been embedded to me eversince. 
Mobile phone company Orange has said 20% of customers who have bought iPhones from it in France have opted for unlocked ones. Orange sold the popular Apple product for 399 euros (£288) with a two-year contract, or 749 euros without one.
